Criteria

Applications shall address all of the following criteria with regard to a particular client or project:

• Demonstrates a higher standard of quality of service for its sector;
• Innovation;
• Horsepower (the energy, expertise and resources to get the job done);
• Savings of significant resources (human or financial) due to the effort/project.

United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley "Turning the Curve" Award

This special United Way award is open to individuals or teams who have provided significant benefit to the community through a contribution of services to a non-profit human services organization serving the Lehigh Valley. Applications shall address the following criteria:

• The outstanding values/benefits of the contribution to the non-profit;
• Innovation in addressing the non-profit’s needs;
• True, “grass-roots” engagement with the non-profit.
• Show how this person or team is helping to "turn the curve" on results (reflected in data) that help make the Lehigh Valley a better place to live and work.
